Transform Your Dog’s Behavior in a Real Home: Discover Audax K9’s Unique In-Home Board & Train
Imagine your dog coming home not just trained, but transformed—calm around distractions, responsive to commands, and settled into the everyday rhythms of family life. That’s the experience at Audax K9 Academy’s in-home board and train program in Snohomish, Washington.
Unlike traditional kennel-based programs, Audax K9 brings your dog into our family home. Your dog lives alongside our family Jason and Kimberly and their four children, practicing manners, social skills, and obedience amid real-life chaos: kids, household routines, and everyday distractions. This isn’t boot-camp isolation. It’s immersive, relationship-based training that prepares your dog for the world you actually live in.
Why In-Home Board & Train Makes the Difference
Most board-and-train setups keep dogs in commercial kennels with limited real-world exposure. At Audax K9, the opposite is true.
Kimberly focuses on house manners, proper social behaviors, and applying formal obedience to everyday situations. Jason, installs a clear verbal marker system and runs intense formal obedience sessions. Our children help with social training and proofing skills under distraction. The result? Your dog learns consistency and confidence in the same kind of environment they’ll return to.
Audax K9’s philosophy centers on making training one of the most fun times in a dog’s life. We start with positive reinforcement—food luring, free shaping, and rewards like attention, toys, and play. Unwanted behaviors often fade once dogs learn reliable ways to earn what they want. Corrections are used fairly when the dog has a clear path to avoid them. Everything builds the dog’s confidence so they can thrive with you.
